Pyaar ka Punchnama, have two meanings - the end of love, and the punches in love. The film depicts both, and stands tall in the treatment in a no-story movie, especially 2 long scenes, where director took the liberty of cursing the females. I think director have something against the female gender, so its totally ANTI-WOMEN Movie.

Plot tells about 3 bachelors - 1. a enthusiastic and good lover Rajat urf Rajjo (Kartikeya Tiwari) 2. a rockstar kinda dud, who didn't took love seriously Vikrant urf Chowdhary (Rayo Bhakhirta) 3. an IT frustated guy, who don't have any girlfriend other than work (sorry real name forgot) urf Liquid (Divyendu Sharma) They are living a good bachelor life, but problem starts when girls enters in their lives, and girls are always demanding. Rajat's problem with Neha (Nushrat Bharucha) is that he loves her, but its very hard for him to understand her, and when she always expect that he will do what she wanted. Chowdhary's problem with Ria (Sonali Sehgal) is that she is still stuck up with her ex-boyfriend Varun (Padam). And Liquid's problem with Charu (Ishita Sharma) is that he expect her to love him, but he's just a friend and a timepass for her, and she is comitted to someone else with the name Abhijeet (Ravjeet).

The best thing about the movie is the Liquid's character, and very well performed by the perfect guy Divyendu. If Circuit's character was tailor-made for Arshad Warsi, and if Chatur's character is tailor-made for Omi Vaidya, then I must say that Divyendu is the perfect match for Liquid. He is a frustated guy who works like a dog in an IT company, under a bad manager, and put out his frustration using bad language over his friends, he works in HELL Technologies (the symbol is quite similar to DELL). Dialogues were awesome, with great frustrated kind of lines, and mind it, 1st half is full of comic situations, supported well by A-rated dialogues, even you can listen to the BEEP sound more often. Story is nothing great, just same kinda plot but direction is gud (both by Luv Ranjan). Cinematography is normal (Sudhir Chaudhary). Wonderful treatment is given to wafer-thin plot, where 1st half is full of comic dialogues, and 2nd-half is fully dramatic, and to a bit emotional, when the relationships become a serious one. Although one can say that the movie dragged a bit more in 2nd half, it can be made better by cutting some reels (Editing by Akiv Ali). Some scenes are show-stealer, especially 2 scenes - the starting one, when Liquid is in full frustration and start speaking all bad about IT companies, and managers ofcourse. 2nd scene comes in 2nd half, when our lovely innocent boy Rajat tries to explain the unexplainable psyche of women, quoting one example is like "They (Girls) never shop what they wanted. 3 weeks, they shout about tables, and when we take them to buy it, they buy a damn sandles but not table, and then 2 more weeks same shouting over tables". All cast acted well, boys did really well than girls, but the weakest actor is Sonali Sehgal, she need to improve. The movie does have the songs in foreground, and in backgrounds, but well placed. Music (Clinton Cerejo, Luv Ranjan, Hitesh Sonik, Ad Boys) and lyrics (Luv Ranjan) are not much great, but you'll love 3 songs "Ishq na kariyo kaake", "Ban gaya Kutta", and the wonderfully picturised song "O Baawre", good music and lyrics here is exception. Even the background score scores, sometimes hearing a pup-voice in background depicting the missed opportunity/kicked a** treatment given to boys by girls. Best scenes included-:

  1. The starting scene showing Liquid in full colour

  2. Their fate and interaction with girls

  3. Phone talk between 3 guys about Goa trip, when they discussed about taking female leads also

  4. Emotional frustration about girls from Rajat

  5. The "Kutta" sequences of Liquid

  6. Liquid's weeping over the fight with Charu

  7. The ending scene of everybody leaving their counter-parts

Kartikeya looks like Ranbir Kapoor, and Rayo looks like Rana Duggubati of DMD, but the show-stealer and the most lovable character is Divyendu. The movie is totally not recommended for a girl/women or for a boy to watch alongwith his girlfriend or wife. Just enjoy with your friends, and dont even discuss the thing with your better (bitter!)-half. My rating 3.5/5.
