Here I am ready to watch Pyar Ka Punchnama 2(PP2). Afternoon 1:30 show, 70 pcnt occupancy, mostly couples, lot of perfume in the air - not sure why I am writing this.
And here we go, movie just started.
I love PP1, so I was excited to watch PP2. I dint bother about newspaper reviews( you too don't bother about them). However my friends who had seen the movie were positive, so I decided to go for the movie.
Movie is fast, ? catchy, young, cool, hot and most importantly entertaining. Luv Ranjan; director and one of writers of the movie? - "Bhai tera to kisi ne solid dil toda hai"; he has so much of complaints from females that he ended up making a second(3 hour) movie on the subject.

Hey don't tell me send it to Luv Ranjan; I am eagerly looking forward to PP3.
I would start with script. Story is simple and similar to PP1 but it's the script and presentation that makes this movie worth a watch. Here is an adult comedy which is not erotic, does not have non-sense comedy and yet entertaining . How can I forget to mention dialogues, punches and one liners, they just go very well with the movie. I can go on writing about script as you don't find such well written movies these days.
Good script only works if it is acted well on the screen. PP1 girls have been repeated in the movie and they have done good work. Looks and styling was changed for one of then, other two have looks very similar to last movies. But I really like Chikoo, she is pretty, refreshing, irritating and beautiful.
Boys have done superb work and are show stoppers, except few scenes where your eyes stop on girls . Actually I was not very convinced with the new boy gang. Since I have seen PP1, I could have never imagined of someone else being able to do the role of boy gang so well.?They can dance, deliver dialogues, are kaminey and funny with an innocence. Too many good words, looks like I am biased.
Music is? above average, first 2 songs are party songs followed by few more numbers, songs go well with the movie, so no complaints.
High point of movie: There is this 10 - 15 minute outburst by Kartik Aryan WOW! .This is at par with Amitab's "English is a verry funny language" or Govinda's " Hata. Savan ki Ghata" . Crowd actually clapped for a minute or two after he finished that.
Many of our A stars don't get such appreciation, congrats Bro; It was a pleasure watching you.
And, do you still want me to write more? Ok, special mention about dressing; dress designer has come up with some trend setting combinations. Chikoo and Thakur were the best dressed members. I really liked the urban formal dressing of Thakur.
So before you book tickets, a strict warning; avoid; no I would say DONT WATCH WITH FAMILY.
If are like Hum Saath Saath hai type family, which goes out movie together; then go saath saath but don't sit saath saath!
