If I have to define in a sentence how Pushpak exp is I would say that its the modern day ''Pushpak Viman''.
Its the only Superfast train which connect South Mumbai to UP. A 19 boggie neat & clean train which always run completely packed even during the off-peak season.
The train provides all kind of travel classes First AC, AC2T, AC3T, SL, 2S & general class.
The USP of this train are: -
Originates from Mumbai CST.
All type of accomodation available.
Limited number of halts.
Fastest train between Mumbai - Jhansi (Punjab Mail is a close second)
One among the few IR trains which run on time.
Excellent pantry, which serves mouth watering food.
On the down side: -
It is most difficult to get reservation in this train, of all the trains that originate from any of the stations in Mumbai. Even during the off-peak season like monsoon, you need to book a ticket atleast 50-60 days in advance.
