I am Ashwani Rathi from Ghaziabad. My father bought Pureit water purifier last year. It seemed that the piece that they installed is a defective one. During warranty period, they do provide service. Somehow they were more bothered about how to pass the warranty period, after which they can start charging money. This RO kept on disturbing us, but there was no service and for whatever bad service they provided they charged.
Finally there was again a problem, we reported the same to the service center. On the phone itself, the attendant informed us that they have to change some parts and it will cost us around Rs 4000. After repeated requests(after 6 days of pleading them) same person finally visited us. He after observing the installation and casually doing some changes declared that the machine is ok now and we can test it later as there was no power at that time. Finally we tested it and the machine was still not ok.
We even escalated the whole thing to area service centre head, but still there was no relief.
Concluding the whole thing, I can say:
Pureit service is pathetic.
They expect their customers to remain thirsty for any number of days
They always look out for money
There is no harm in accepting that the piece was a faulty one if it actually is. This will definitely raise your credibility in the market.
Service centre is least bothered about providing service.
Finally I bought a new Kent RO installation.
