If at you place there is hard water problem or you have submersible motor then this product is inefficient.
I purchased this product 3-4 years ago and I have submersible motor.
The germkill kit needs to be removed very frequently and you can see the dirt in the filtration tank.
Another big issue with this product is that you have to manually fill the water so as to filter it.
There is no provision to automatically fill the tank.
This process is very slow and you have to be really patient to do it.
Sometimes the water is even little dirty after filteration.
So this product is not at all recomended for hard water filtration.
Dont know how it will work with normal water.
