I own a Pureit marvella RO from last 1.5 years. Last time I had a very good experience from pure it service. They changed the CSF filter within 2 days after placing the order but this time, I have to admit the experience I had is totally un-ethical and unprofessional and I need to admit that I have been cheated to pay full amount even after the delivery is delayed from Pureit.


After placing the order( NO: RFS/3447129) for replacing germ kill kit on 07/11/2013, they took 4 days to replace the kit( replaced on 11/11/2013), which is clearly more than 72 hours. As per the sms from pureit says - " if the order is not delivered within 72 hrs, you will get a germ kill kit free". With this, I had a big fight with pureit to get my order replaced free of cost.


Two of the customer executives( who were really trying to help me on this issue with their utmost sincerity) convinced about the ingenuity of this query and registered a complaint( no: C135398403) to replace the kit for free. As per this complaint, I have only to pay installation charges INR.125/-


But the customer escalation manager named Balaji, I’m not sure how he is representing this designation( totally unprofessional - a complete Indian so called "manager") and derived lot of other meanings to the sms received from Pureit sms like 72hrs before the customer receives a call from technician instead of delivery time mentioned.


They were also convinced but desperately trying to defend and save agency’s 2625/- rupees. Also, they had a hidden agenda with the agency( Manager name Bharat) who supplied this kit - LS traders cox town, Bangalore.


The fight went on for almost 2 hours. Then poor technician unveiled the real story behind this drama. There are several instances like this happening and they are covering up the sms meaning by diluting the 72hrs of delivery with 72 hrs from technician attending the case so that consumers will have to bear the burden for Pureit’s delivery time delay.


By this time technician’s manager threatened him saying that if in case I’m getting the replacement free of cost, then they will cut Rs.2625 from his salary! Absolutely unprofessional I must say. It is poor technicians or customers absolutely to pay for Pureit’s delay in installation. Hail Pureit!


After hearing this, I thought of paying this amount because I felt really sorry for that technician and agreed to pay 2625/- and updated this to so called "customer care escalation( useless) manager". Really frustrated how consumers are treated by Pureit. Also decided to replace the water purifier when this germ kit expires.


Thought of letting other Pureit customers about this incident so that they can take better care while ordering the CSF/germ kill kit next time.
