I have bought a Marvella RO on the insistence of the sales person saying that the service levels are very high.
They took 4 days to install the machine. Inspite of informing them that we get water only in the morning, the service person came in the afternoon.
He installed and confirmed that he will be coming and checking next day morning, and as expected, he did not turn up. I switched on the machine and to my surprise, water started flowing out(not from the tap but from the machine).
Informed the helpline, they confirmed that within 48 hrs the service engineer will respond. The service engineer did not come but I received an SMS saying that the issue is resolved(sic).
Have called the helpline again today, they have again committed that they will immediately send a person.... Wait for my update tomorrow.
Overall, very bad experience.
Update 1: If you want to get your taps broken, call the the service guys!
After this post of mine and placing complaints twice on 27th of June, the service guy turned up in the evening... broke the tap connection, said he will come back with a plumber on the 28th of June, he called back yesterday and said he will come today, i.e 29th of June at 9am. it is 12.30pm now and he is nowhere to be seen...
Can anybody suggest what action needs to be taken?
Update 2: At last the the plumbing work was done and I had to shell out 700 rupees to get the connections which were broken by the service people. Now, when the unit was put up and tested, it has a broken filter and water started leaking....gosh!
Now, instead of replacing the unit, the service team is suggesting to replace the filter...is it correct?
My view is the entire unit should be replaced....you never know what other problems might be in the offing.....
