The simplest and best. Like I said, "simplicity" is the forte of this purifier. But how about "effectiveness"? Well, this purifier features a four-stage purification process. Let me give you some details.
The first stage is a very simple micro-fiber based filter that filters out insoluble impurities(such as small particles of soil/sand). This prepares the water for later purification stages.
Stage two is where things get interesting. Here you get an "Activated Carbon filter". Now it will be a subject on its own to describe how AC filter works, but let me tell you in brief that this is special filter that removes chemicals such as Chlorine and micro organisms by absorption, So, I consider it the "heart" of these gravity based filter. This "Active Carbon filter" is what converts this "filter" into a purifier.
Stage three is a "battery" whose exact purpose/effect in not known to me. All the water passes through this battery to the next stage. Perhaps, this battery keeps measuring the purity level of the water, and indicates if it's the time to change the set of filters. The function of killing/removal of germ/bacteria happens in the above two stages.
Last stage is another level of filtering/polisher, where water comes from beneath and gathers into a tank after passing through yet another fine filter.
Overall, I loved it.
