Feedback from a first time customer of the Punjabi By Nature restaurant at Hyderabad - sheer indifference to customers at the new restaurant in Hyderabad.
Please find below a narration of the hopeless customer experience that we were subjected to.
There was no valet service at the time of arrival at the venue; in fact the drivers asked us to park our cars by ourselves.
We waited for 20 minutes to get a table which suprisingly did not have table napkins and took over 5 minutes before somone came to attend to us.
We were presented with the food menu and no liquor menu(there was no prior intimation at the lobby with regard to unavailability of liquor). We were suggested similar dishes(veg and non-veg) for the main course.
Water served was not cold and when asked for ice, it took another 5 minutes for ice to arrive.
The starters were good but the main course was such a huge dissappointment, the food was bland and the roti's served were cold and begun to harden.
The pricing is exhorbitant for such poor service and food. I do not understand why a service charge of 10% if levied on top of such high prices.
Now for the icing on the cake, on leaving the restaurant, it took over 30 minutes for the valets to get the cars out. The drivers were irresponsible and so was the manager at the lobby.
On the whole, there was total apathy towards a customer and I am really dumbfounded how a new place could afford such negative publicity and service standards.
I am not sure they realize the dominance of hospitaility groups such as the Ohri's, BJN, Sayaji Hotels, Zafaran etc. in Hyderabad. Avoid under most circumstances.its not worth it.
