This dhaba located in karapakkam village on the outskirts of Chennai. Located close to Fisher, Congnisant technologies. old mahabalipuram road.
Wonderful dhaba with authentic punjabi food. Managed by an elderly sardarji couple. Food prepared by the elderly lady. Chhas, lassi, butter chicken, tandoori dishes, panneer are prepared on the spot, served piping hot. Omellettes... rotis... etc. yummy.. home away from home.
Lip smacking, sumptous veg & non veg food. A great boon for cosmo politan crowd, to have traditional North Indian food in a hard core sambar bastion.
History... owner was a bank employee who got transferred from mumbai to chennai. The wife had spare time and started this small dhaba. This however got very very popular with the software guys around (IT highway). When the owner got another transfer order elsewhere. He just kicked his job good bye & joined his wife in managing the dhaba.
Highly recommended for a healthy, hygeinic, sumptous food
