I have a salary account since more than 10 years with PNB. Being India's second largest public sector bank, the bank has established itself in the forefront of financial services.After SBI, a number of ATMs you would find in any places would be of PNB.
May be sometimes one can get scared of employees in the branch since like most of the PSUs, some babus and clerks are not so responsive and you feel less professionalism in their work ethics.Bank's products are competitive and wide. Internet banking service is worth mentioning. They provide loan products under different schemes with competitive interest rate. Technology adoption has made he services fast and less time consuming.
I get my salary through NEFT and never had any issue. Customer service is satisfactory but can be improved. Phone banking sometimes takes more time time to response but one one thing is good of check balance just with one missed call.Overall service is just like what you can expect from any bank. Recommended to everyone.
