You may choose public transport to reach this place. We took the KTM train, from KL Sentral to Pelabuhan Klang Station(Last station), about 1 hour. Within 3 minutes walking distance from the station to the jetty. There are two types of water transport, speedboat and ferry. I would strongly recommend to go for speedboat which cost you around RM10 per way and takes only 20minutes to reach your destination, while ferry RM7 per way, cheaper but you have to be stuck on the boat for about 40 minutes.Do bring along sunblock or sunscreen, cap, sunglasses and water. It is super sunny and you hardly find a shade or roofed pathway.Get yourself a bicycle with daily rental RM5, but you just have to return the bike before 6pm. This island isn't extraordinary big, just a small village, but walking under the scorching hot sun, it's really killing you. There is only one public toilet, nearby the jetty. But it's dirty, or you may use the washrooms found in the restaurants. You may try the seafood over here. There are number of restaurants. But don't expect it will be cheap though, and the one I tried, it didn't taste amazingly delicious.Over here, they speak Mandarin, Hokkien and Malay. It was a nice getaway, to experience the life of living in a fishing village. The residents over here were all so friendly and helpful.
