As the name represents the story is about a guy named Saravanan from a place called PUDUKOTTAI in the state of Tamilnadu. The film starts very well with a chasing scene holding a young gal followed by some rowdies. The opening theme given by YUVAN was from MurattuKaalai featuring RAJNIKANTH. That shot makes us so xcited due to the theme given & suddenly joining it up with NattuSarakku's Track.Simply superb YUVAN.Probably that sounds like a remix even.really nice to see it.
Then within 10 minutes after the very 1st song ''Naatu Sarakku'' the film gotta slow down.In the Naatu Sarakku song DHANUSH enjoys very well with the co-dancer.Also the lyrics had been modified as '' Nattu Nadappu'' & also so many censored clips over there in the song.Also the female dancer strains a lot 2 show her up.But it fells us quite a bit annoyed whilst watching with a GF or our Family members.
After that he moves 2 singapore 4 work & there he faces a lot of tortures by our Stunt director Mr.PETER Haien.then the reason they give 4 DHANUSH 2 be facing a lot of problem were allrite.But unfortunately this time INDIAN THEATRE PRODUCTIONS could have spend a litle amoutn of money while shooting the film in oversees.Like local film they maintained the shooting very simply the film print even depicts it.Also the background in which they got shooted this film makes us to think like that.
They show DHANUSH 2 be an uneducated guy & also not so much exposed to the latest happenings.That makes us to guess that Dhanush might not be known 2 drive a car.But he casually makes theft of a car & drives it.I dun know how? Then most of the scenes makes us to feel like that they were not @ all captured @ the respective places.Instead they were projected with a rear screen & then they had been captured.
So this time also DHANUSH performed his casting well & laso the new - entry APARNA works well most of time & in some sequences where she fails 2 even Xpress herself. Her face is a smiley one & it doesn't fit 4 sentimental scenes.But she looks like a typical NRI.The DRUMS performed 4 the '' BABY BABY '' song was really a nice work 4m Dhanush as it had been performed by him even.
This time songs come unnaturally without any sense & the most loved song '' MALARGALE'' also comes like that without any sense. Why this time S.S.Stanley fails 2 make the exact scene sequence? almost every song Xcluding ''NAATU SARAKKU'' was like this only.the story moves very slow & the poor screenplay makes us 2 feel the film 2 b a quite lengthy one.
So totally PUDUKOTTAI SARAVANAN may work out in PUDUKOTTAI
