In June 2014, I ordered Proactive solution, which costed me around 3500/- Indian rupees. My acne was not so active yet I had few scars on my face and by the promotion done by the adverts on TV, it seemed as if this could really heal the scars. But it was a complete rip off.
When I started using the 3 step application, of Scrub, Toner and Cream, I had no break-outs. I was very particular about the directions mentioned on each bottle, so that I get good results with this product. However as soon as I started the course, 3 days later I got really painful acne on my skin which got worse with each application. By the end of 1st week my skin was a mess.
I gave a call to the customer care regarding this problem. I got a response that I was not using the products correctly. The customer care representative asked me to use the Scrub, the amount of which should be of a button's size, the Toner should be taken only 4 drops on a cotton ball and the cream should be size of a pea.
This was a complete joke, since My skin did not feel clean with so less an amount of scrub. The 4 drops of toner was sucked into cotton and my skin hardly got wet with toner. It felt like I was dabbing my skin with dry cotton. The pea size amount cream hardly covered my cheek's area. However by the end of second week, it made my skin even worse and I had to just keep the whole 3, 500/- worth trash in my cupboard, swearing never to use it again.
I called up the Proactive customer care but it was of no good use.They just asked me to keep using the stuff.
I would recommend that please do not use this product.As they do not provide any samples before you try the full package.
