Story:

I love reading. Reading has been my passion. But whenever I am asked that which type of books do I like, surprisingly I'm speechless. Because there is no special type for me. But till a little while back I was always against those sentimental books relating to human rights, social problems bla?bla?bla.

One winter afternoon, I just went to my friend?s house and found her sitting on a very cozy sofa and reading a book. On being questioned she told me ?I?m reading PRINCESS.? Irritated at the fact that I was hearing these words for at least the thirty-fifth time, I dumped my bag and glaring at the cover, said ?What the hell do you find in this book, that every second day you are reading it?? She took of her spectacles, looked at me and said, ?What do you find in Harry Potter??

Without thinking, I simply said? I find my smile in those books? She gave me a smile and replied ?That?s exactly what I find in this.?

Then she came up to me, took my hand, and placed the book in them saying ?Sneha, I know you don?t want to, I know you think you will not like it, but still I insist- READ IT. I assure you, you will never regret.? Till now I don?t know why but I took the book, came home and finished in one read sitting.

She had assured me that I would not regret. But I do. I regret for have read it so late. I regret for have blamed her dozens of time for loving that book. I regret for have read it only 22 times by now. I regret for have been against a book which is so beautiful, so heart touching and so awesome.

I know mouthshut.com is all about writing reviews and opinions, and not at all about writing personal experiences. But if you expect me to tell you what the story is all about then I?m honestly SORRY. Because the story of PRINCESS is to be read, to be felt, to be realized and not to be told. It is not a story of truth OR dare; instead it is a story of TRUTH AND DARE.

So as a concluding line I, just like my friend, would like to say, ?READ IT.I ASSURE YOU, YOU WILL NEVER REGRET.?
