I love the style of jane austen. Style means English not as a grammar but as something no one has ever been able to imitate or write equal to her style.
First I comment on her extraordinary English that I find so high class, let me try adjectives, jane austen english I write no one can ever speak or write. Her very name jane austen gives us a feel of something english. English means jane austen, english means thomas hardy, english means d, h, Lawrence love english it started from jane austens novel pride and prejudice, again it was nearly forty years back I read, each word was so dificult for me to understand but I really went through.
Do you know if u love something and don't understand the mystery word tries to caress u with affection and slowly u feel the feeling of situation, I could feel the party, the behavior of Elizabeth's father and mother, in fact there is no difference between situation behavior of any mother with many daughters.all the girls n the novel are well cultured and groomed.
In fact the mother was money minded and when the rich boy who visited their place went out of way to make friendship and invited for party etc.my idea is not to tell the story of this novel, it is to popularize jane austens English. One need patience to read her lines or words.it is not a tough English words but lot of high etiquette, or socially not so usual words she uses.one has to make impression on the basis of what exactly jane austen had in her mind. jane austens never wrote silly type.this makes reader where to find amusement and romance.her romance was more of deep into ones mind that is for a girl whether she should feel impact or not.since there was absence of radio, tv, movies, car, aeroplane, railway in those days I think even electrcity was absence during jane austen times.hence if a girl meet a person, it used to be a day long interaction, no one would talk to a girl just for a minute, it had to be for hours or else she would feel he was dumb.
Todays girls can hardly speak because of work stress or any new assignment.now any reader who reads my review, will wonder what I am taking them to read is it to read my review or jane austen.i promise certianly it is not that my idea.i want one must read jane austens pride and prejudice with out fail in their life.if they cant digest her english at least keep it as a preserve.any one who visits home will admire and say oh u are fan of jane austen and if u answr yes I am a great fan of her english, the visitor will think u have very good english.
i have been trying to write jane austen level english, and I am sure it can never be possible in my life because dedication is needed to write very good English. No one really speak fluently in english now a days, to write well u need persons who has like mindedness to improve their english and make the one needy.but time factor is waning any chance to have.oh let me come back please buy pride and prejudice novel, once u read her novel, and if u compare to any other authors none can reach near to her level.but d, h, lawerence do reach but he is too romantic author he takes one to drift path where as jane austen takes u to family path. Jane austen makes u feel u should love ur family, she makes u to refine , makes u to dress well, in fact pride and prejudice novel if anyone read any time will be a diffrent person in future.for girls readin this novel makes them so beautiful and pretty, there is lot of magic feel in her novel.
Especailly pride and prejudice.if I reveal the plot in the novel and detail of the story, intrest will sure wane.i am more of appreciating very english of jane austen.ok let me detail some of the situation.a party situation in the home of elizabeth. It is not too big room, but there are many entries to different places from kitchen to master bed room, and a large window covered with glass, ofcourse lot of curtains to avoid view from road.trees are must in front of any of those homes.day and night would have peaceful silence because there is no traffic at any time.i am little failing to describe the plots and other things.
Infact it is very difficult even to write few happenings in the story.one must read to enjoy and feel great.whoever so far feel their english is really good, will certainly fail to reach anywhere of jane austen style.i have so much respect for jane austen, sometimes I get dreams where in I do converse of her style.that is enough for me.now I want ms members to rush to read this book.i have not written to get points or comments, i will come back again to rewrite a much better high level review after others rite who can write better than me, in fact I have found there are hundreds of lit English holders who if they mind will bring class writing .more after I wait for the monsoon vigour response from avid readers of ms or members.
