I bought a Prestige Induction cooktop Fute Pic 3.0 at Angamaly at Ernakulam District Kerala on 20th November 2009(a product of ttk). The Induction heater was used hardly 10 to 15 minutes perday for 15 days. The timer stopped working on the 16th day after purchase rendering it useless. Now only on and off controls work.
The induction heater had nice good looks with a black glass top and printed touch controls with a very easy to clean surface. The Prestige pressure cookers are well known in every Indian household, which prompted me to choose this brand though friends advised me to select Pigeon instead.
We dont know the origins of this product but it is said to be made in China.
Prestige may not have enough technical expertise to manufacture Induction cookers on its own.
How can Prestige sell a product which cant even work properly for 2 weeks.
The timer started working after three days.
There is some kind of problem with its timer.
I dont know whether it is safe to work with it now .
