Just want share a worst experience with Pratham Motors Bangalore, When Maruti launched new Swift I went to all the showrooms to check the vehicle and after that as per the requirement I booked my vehicle in Pratham on 1st September 2011 thinking sales guy is a poor guy and its ok if it takes more than 2 to 3 months also for the vehicle, the committed time given to me was around November for the delivery and after waiting till December also I did not get vehicle, in fact my friends and colleagues who had booked the vehicle in other showrooms after me got my vehicle. Still I was ok thinking I will get the may be in Jan, I was in constant touch with Abhishek (Sales Exe) to know the status but there was no commitment from him.
In between I came to know about launch of new Dzire which also I was enquiring to this person but he never had any info about the same or my delivery. As soon as I came to know that the booking for the new Dzire has started I asked this fellow to change my booking and try and give me the vehicle at earliest he suggested he will arrange by Feb end.
Surprizingly when I was enquiring at other dealers came to know they might force old Dzire bookings to the new Dzire but still they were ready to give the vehicle so I also booked at other dealer who had committed the delivery at earliest. In fact when I was asking Abhishek about the Demo vehicle or test drive vehicle he always used to say that the vehicle is still not come and as a Platinum dealer they will get the first vehicle but other dealer took me to their stock yard and shown me the vehicle.
Considering all this I was continuously following it up with Abhishek but he never use to respond to calls or SMS so I sent him a mail asking confirm if my booking has been changed to Dzire and tentative period for delivery to my surprize he came back saying he has still not changed the same as he does not know the price of the vehicle.
After lots of mails(escalation) his Team Leader replied he will check the dates and come back, but he came back saying you have changed your vehicle and hence you are now not in priority list it will take another 5 months min for the vehicle I felt cheated I asked him how to cancel the booking he said I will only go ahead and cancel your bookings as we don't want customers like you. when I told him that Abhishek had committed me that he will refund the complete amount or vehicle delivery by Feb end, he says he does not know anything and they will only refund Rs. 7500 instead of Rs. 10000.
Firstly I did not get vehicle, then sales guys talking to me in such language and then I am not getting my full money also after 6 months investment. Its a really bad experience and would suggest you friends whoever is planning to take Maruti vehicle please don't go to Pratham at any cost.
