I watched this film two days back. The story is about a middle-aged electrician. He falls in love with a diva who comes to live in his neighbourhood. He wants to marry her, though he has a non-ordinary mentality. Hemant Pandey is the leading character and hence I expected the film to be very comedy type. But Prakash Electronics is not as comic as was expected. It is also very long movie. Prakash is an introvert by nature. He grows up to become a moderately successful electrician and. Barkha(Hrishita Bhatt), rents a house in his building and he develops a crush on her and wants to marry her. Barkha wants to work in films but Prakash doesn’t like people who work in films.
In the film there is a reference of taking the casting couch route to stardom for modern actresses and hence Prakash doubts Barkha's character on several occasions. Some slang words like ‘item’, which is how most of the characters refer to Barkha is beeped in the film. I did not like any of the characters. Even Prakash's acting was disappointing. It does have a few good sound tracks. These sound tracks are worth hearing. The cinematography is of average standard and not so modern. Overall an average film. Good for time pass but no value for money spent.
