Back in the days of yore.......... well, maybe not quite that far back, horses were used to deliver the mail : The Pony Express. If those horses became lame, (in those days, anyway) they were shot (and put of their misery). Well, how about a ''lame'' postal service? I'm talking about Postage4Free.com
This has got to be the worst webservice I have ever come across. I, too, was a victim of their false claims thinking I'd get something for nothing (the 10 FREE stamped envelopes). This place doesn't deliver their promises: I received no pre-stamped envelopes and no e-mail or snail-mail explaining why.
At first, I thought this was cool. Join and give the names of those who you think would like to receive free postage. Within 10 business days, your envelopes will be delivered to your home mailbox. THAT WAS 10 MONTHS AGO...........
and still no envelopes. The only good thing about this is that it didn't cost any money to join. So, actually, all I wasted was time.
While this site is easy to navigate and very looks impressive and professional, after a while it makes you wonder how they stay in business.
Another problem I've encountered is that after waiting almost one year, I decided to try again - thinking that maybe, just maybe, there was a glitch in their system and my information didn't go through. I filled out the questionnaire and order form again. However, when I hit the ''submit'' button, I window popped up saying I was already in their system and only one offer per family was permitted.
The only good things I can find about this site is that it does offer postal rate calculations, package tracking, zip codes and a few other services related to the post office. But you can get that on https://usps.com.
I guess my dad was right. You do get what you pay for and anytime you encounter anyone who says their giving stuff away free, isn't. Their is always a hitch.
