I am 15 year old and I enjoyed thouroghly there
Suggestion( IMPORTANT) - Believe it or not, we were able to book airplane tickets( jet airways) from delhi to chennai for a mere 1000 rupees, then changed flight for going to port blair their( that too jet airways) which was again for a mere 1000 rupees. Thus we traveled 2400 kilometres for a minimal 1000+ 1000= 2000 rupees!
We were a family of 4 thus calculating the total cost of going( 2000* 4= 8000 rupees) and returning back to delhi( 2000* 4= 8000 rupees), we did it in just 16, 000 rupees.
You might be thinking why I am paying a huge emphasis on it, but you can check any flight booking platform, you wouldnt get a sum less than 1 lakh 50 thousand! Due to this savings in flight, we covered the whole trip from jaipur to delhi and follows and return to jaipur from delhi including food, hotel, transport, scuba, snorkelling, cruise in 6 day visit to port blair just at almost 1 lakh rupees for 4 persons.
THE SECRET TO THIS WAS BOOKING AIRPLANE TICKETS JUST BEFORE 1 YEAR OF TRIP, IN AN OFFER, IN SUMMERS.
Coming to places of visit, we got to our hotel from the airport and rested and remaining of the day as we were tired.
The next day we went to the ross islands on a locally available ship where deers were wandering openly in the grounds and you could even touch them.
Our next destination was the cellular jails light and sound show where they would dramatically show the plights of the indian prisoners their trought various light and sound effects.
Next day we left for havelock island through the cruise( dolphin cruise) .I recommend to book the tickets yourself from its official site and not through any DALALS.
We reached there and checked into our hotel .It had a personal beach! We then went for exploring and swimming in beaches of kalapathar and other islands.
The most memorable day of my life( REALLY) was scuba diving.SUGGESTION FOR THOSE WEAR SPECTACLES - NO PROBLEM . I WEAR THEM TOO. THE HAVE SPECIAL GOGGLE FOR THOSE PEOPLE.
You would see great fishes and a beautiful underworld of the unexplorable oceans.I live in rajasthan so I made full use of oppurtunity of water sports there because in rajasthan( jaipur) we nothing like this but further water shortage.
Loved the havelock island.Got back to our hotel in port blair. Then we went for exploring the caves .You would get information about its timing by you driver ji.You would move in a army type configeration to reach there as it passes through tribal land.
Everything is purely a BEAUTY .AMAZING!
