Firstly let me tell you that this place is situated at Saki Naka. This place is situated just besides the main Saki Naka signal. This place is in collaboration with Urban Tadka, and both the sections are good. This outlet is a bit small as compared to the rest of the outlets in town.
What do you like or dislike about this restaurant?
We did like the starters, and there was a wide variety in the starters. The starters were fresh and the taste too was awesome. We ordered almost 5-6 starters all ranging between 200-500, prawns tandoori being the most expensive amongst the starters that we ordered.
Then we ordered few pizzas and sizzlers and few salads too. The one made out of broccoli was the best and very tasty. Broccoli was very fresh and delicious, and that made it taste even more better.
Desserts was good but after having desserts at 5 Spice(Rocky Road, Mission Impossible), I must say they didn't have a competition but still desserts here were good enough. Brownie sizzler being by far the best.
What was the food like?
As said before the food was delicious and the starters were even more delicious. Post 2:47 starts happy hours at Poptates and that's when the crowd starts coming in. The place gets crowded in the evening.
Comment on flavor, temperature, portion size and appeal.
The ambiance is very good during night, and moderate types during noon time. So I would recommend everyone to visit this place in the evening. This place is an ideal visit during any cricket match as big screens are put up here and people enjoy the match. Everything is good, the temperature, portion size and the appeal too. The customer service is also class, and quick. By the time one would settle down, the waiters are at your table to take order and serve you chilled water.
The ambiance is very good with old fashioned scooters and call booths and blue lights adds to the mood.
Are reservations necessary?
If there are any plans for weekend, then prior reservations is a must. Saturdays and Sundays sees this place full packed with trendy youth partying hard. Happy hours are very good and everyone takes the advantage of this. Happy hours are applicable on hard drinks too.
If reservations aren't accepted, how long a wait can one expect?
If reservations are accepted then one has to wait for an hour to get a seat, and if one wants to booze the waiting time would be somewhere around 1 hour 30 mins.(The waiting time is only for weekend).
Once we had gone here without reservations, and there was somewhere around 1 hour waiting, hence we changed our plans and went to grills.
So if you are going on Saturdays or Sundays, then prior booking is a must. This place is situated opposite Mainland China and this place is present near the junction.
A good place to hangout. Recommended.
