Low price is the only advantage. Review on Ponds Dreamflower Body Lotion

Moisturizer is one of the most essential skin care items especially during winter. There are many types of moisturizers available in the market. Pond’s Dreamflower is one of these and marketed by Pond’s, associates of HLL. We expect a good product from Lever or it affiliates. However, this one is to attract customer by its low price.

According to me, there are too many disadvantages in this product of Pond’s and these are:

-It is not very good for very dry skin

-One has to apply it too many times in a day; otherwise, skin is as dry as before.

-It does not cover as much of skin area as many moisturizers (good quality, higher price like Lakme or ) can cover

-Fragrance is good for only women not at all for men

-Packed in a narrow bottle, this is unsteady, especially when it one third or less filled

-According to a reviewer (ahwan80), this product is allergic during summer. This property is not at all desired from a skin care product that to from Pond’s. Manufacturer should at least mention very clearly if some ingredient might cause allergy to certain people.

• It does not seem to have any medicinal value to take care of minor damages unlike some other moisturizer.

Low cost of a product does not serve the requirement of consumer if one has to apply more, too many times a day and extra expense to take care of allergy.

Well, this is product from Pond’s, so there are some plus points:

• I expect very good GMP practices during manufacturing to maintain hygienic condition during manufacturing. Maintaining good hygienic condition is essential for such products.

I do not like this product because it is not very cost effective and does not fulfill requirements of my skin. For very dry skin formulation with oil of Olay is good.

Cost of a product is one of the most important factors and many will like to go for it. Someday it may become the highest selling moisturizer in the country but that is not any indicator for its quality. Of course, one can try it if it suits ones priority, budget and
