I expired my two wheeler insurance package policy due to personnel issues and I was unable to renew my policy in time. I was holding an insurance policy from New India Assurance co.ltd.

I checked their site for details on renewal and availed their online chat service also and I found out that once after your renewal date in expired,then you cannot renew by online rather you have to contact to your regional office where you can renew once again and also I have to bring my Two wheeler for verification. since I am residing out station away from my regional registration office of my two wheeler bike, I was unable to come and do. Hence checked online and find out solution at policybazaar and checked its offering. They had offering in their site for getting a new policy by renewing your expired policy. I just entered my Two wheeler registration no in their site and automatically complete details related to my registration number surfaced like engine no.,date of purchase,engine chassis no.,etc and their site calculated the best new policy which can be pursued by taking different comparisons into considerations like cost wise,company wise, duration wise etc.Then I just completed the remaining steps and proceeded step by step to payment and done! No needed to visit physically or go back to my native. The insurance company automatically forwarded me my policy soft copy online to my email after completion of payment and furnishing all details.
