Another HIT. Review on Pokiri - Telugu Movie

Pokiri.....after flops this season with no movie releasing, this movie is definitely going to do good business all over.

Mahesh Babus charishma is not lost, He is great, looks young as ever. He is another actor who will always look young, he got the best features of his parents to be so good looking. But his dialogue deliver should be worked upon, most of them were inaudible. The new heroine Ileana is paired with him, they look like MADE FOR EACH OTHER types. Shinde shines, he has done a brilliant job. Prakash Raj is his usual, but should lose weight especially his belly, should work on it to be more impressive. Ashish Vidyarthi is usual brilliant self. The new faces as the bad men have done good job. At the beginning I was wondering what Nasser was doing in this movie, but by the end I knew his importance, but a minimal role.

The twist in the tale is what impresses the movie goers, without that the movie would have been another stale tale.

Music is good. One or two of them are impressive, but as usual all dream songs. Something should be done about this, especially in the indian films. And the flavour of hindi remix can be seen in these songs.

Fight sequences, too violent for my tastes, and the visual effects need to be fine tuned. The climax especially, so many colour differences in successive shots. It seemd as if it had been done in a hurry. Dialogues and screen play are a positive, especailly Shinde.

On the whole a entertainer.
