Pogo is familiar to all 90s children it used to be the best channel even in early 2000s but I don't know why after 2009 it started changing their strategy and all shows which led to deterioration of content, I being one of viewer Of this channel in early 2000s here is my review of watching this channel for around a decade.
IDEA:
the idea of this channel earlier was very brilliant all shows were good for children, but now a days they are more and more telecasting shows in which there are lot of action and fights which I feel is not suitable for children of tender age.
GRAPHICS:
It generally happens that the graphics generally improve with the time but an inverse thing has happened with this channel, if one Compares presents show graphics say Chota bheem with that of earlier shows say noddy than I am sure that every one feels the same, but personally I don't like present graphics and characters.
SHOWS:
Name of few shows being presently telecasted are Chota bheem etc but these shows don't have any specific content and they can't be matched to earlier shows like noddy, Bob the builder, Thomas and friends etc those shows were legendary even today even with a glimpse of any one of them I feel naustalgic, more over whole day they keep telecast in the Chota bheem or old episodes of 'Takeshi Castle' , so I would say that the present shows have failed to gather the connection that previous shows used to have.
DIVERSITY:
earlier the channel else used to telecast diverse shows from time to time say at morning slots were fixed for noddy, Bob the builder, Oswald, Thomas and friend and one would not believe but children would get up at 7 just to watch these shows but now the channel is focusing only on Chota bheem, mighty raju, movies of Chota bheem which means that everything is related to Chota bheem only.
DISCONTINUED SUNDAY MOVIES:
earlies the channel used to telecast Sunday movies for children they generally were short movies for children that were not telecasted on any other channel, but now they have even stopped telecasting those movies.
FINAL OPINION:
at last I would like to say that only channel logo is same rest every thing has changed, which I don't feel is good change and I feel that channel should switch to earlier strategy.
