Not only a website but a treasure of meaningful poems. https://poetrycontest.com is just not a website. Its actually a path, a platform for new aspirants who love to read poems, and who has the ability to potrate a new one as well. I have seen this website when I got one promotional email from one website, stating, if you like to win 55,000US$ just register your poem at https://poetrycontest.com. Though I did it because I was expecting a prize for my own poem but, friends do you know what I got really by doing that? I got a chance to see that beautiful website with millions of new poems which are never seen never published and never heard before. And the best part of that was they were all free to read for any new visitor. I got a long breath of satisfaction while seeing the genuine efforts done by various poets. I am saying that because all the poems available there, are legitimate in the means of copyrights. (never published, never heard or never read) but as you know all the fingers are not the same and all the poets are not even genuine. Some use to put some other’s talent while making copyright. I hope you understand what I mean to say in that.
Taking you directly towards website’s features. The name of this website as you all know is https://poetrycontest.com but in my words I shall name it as “ https://poetrytreasure.com. It has poems available on each and every issue, touched carefully with a style. It has various sections by which you can send greeting cards (poetry based), it has a section by which you can separately, look for a poem (section like untouched romantic poems). It has the quality, it has a passion, it has everything what you need from a genuine poetry website. But I am feeling very sorry to say as with all the lucrative advantages, it has a list of disadvantages as well. As I am a review writer and my duty is to show you the glimpse of the reality and truth, I am very sorry to say this website promises to award some amount to the best of poems and their respective writers. But friends I have not seen a single one who has got the award actually. Though I have seen some postal letters, some news regarding this website’s prizes, awards. But friends in my personal opinion this website is not going to give you prizes if you are concentrating on those while putting your poem into these people’s hands.(Website) If you are putting your poem for public leisure, don’t wait go for it now. But if you are looking to those lucrative prizes to be won, just forget it. It wont give any body I suppose. The next big shock I got when I saw that this website is now just limited to a few countries.
I mean, this is pathetic to see that the poem writing is just patented to those countries only? I as an Indian citizen is not allowed to write poem on this website? It hurt me a lot, and as a humble request, I like to say https://poetrycontest.com please make your corrections, so that no body in this world of family feel shameful in future because, he/she is a poet and he is not allowed to write on https://poetrycontest.com because he don’t belong to those countries! While concluding my review, I would like to rate this website at 10/10 in the means of poems. But when the question is of partiality I am sorry to say this website has got 10/10 in the means of doing partiality and limited to only a few countries. Shame on you https://poetrycontest.com for this partial attitude.
