VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. Review on Plezar Point, Pune

PLEZAR POINT PICNIC SPOT, PANSHET, PUNE

Guys, PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS SPOT. We visited this place by looking at their website plezarpoint.org. It shows a very promising picnic spot with a lot of activities like Big slides and a different array of other watersports and a mini-train. But what we got was totally the opposite.

We reached there at around 11.00 a.m. on a Saturday morning. No concerned person was available at the ticket counter. There was a person whom we found at the canteen who told us that he is the caterer and the concerned person will come in some time. He took our cash(Rs.200/- for adult and 150/- for my daughter) and told us we will get the tickets after a while. We could meanwhile take our breakfast. The dining room was is disarray with a tables not cleaned and cowwebs hanging from the ceiling. The breakfasat itself was simple with Poha or Upma as the choice(That too was taken for cooking after asking us the choice).

NOW THE RIDES - Most of the Water rides are non-functional. It looks that they have stopped functioning for the last 6 months. Only one swimming pool was filling with clean water, but the slides attached to it are non functioning. The pool has water depth where only our legs can sink upto the ankles. All the other sides are filled with stagnant water. Even then, we asked the person if he could atleast start the running water on the slides on this pool so that we can atleast have some kind of fun. He told us that he will send the person to start the water. This supposed person never came after a wait of 20 minutes. The MINI TRAIN shown in the website looks to be non-functional from a long period of time.

At last we got fed up with the whole thing and asked the person to give us back our refund. He did so after arguing that the facilities where still good.

IF YOU TRULY WANT TO GO TO ANY WATERWORLD IN PUNE, TRY KRUSHNAI WATER PARK, near DONJE, SINHAGAD. They are truly good and professional(Charges Rs.250/- on weekdays & 300/- on Weekends, Child below 4' 50/- to 100/- less) and very good quality food.
