I received a coupon code from purplle.com for Rs. 500 redeemable at playgroundonline.com on purchases above Rs. 1500, so I placed two orders (218084 for Rs. 1119 and No. 218083 for Rs. 499) and eventually applied the coupon for order no. 218083. Now after a few days of no updates I receive a call from customer care that the product redeemed is out of stock, so they are sending me just order no. 218084, to which I declined, as the product worth Rs. 499, was still listed and available for sale.
I cancelled the deal. I wrote the feedback to CEO and there was no response. Just to check the site's worthiness, I placed another order (no. 219481) and after more than a week's delay and my continuous enquiries, the product was finally shipped and I received it on August 7th , 2013. Since I did not use the coupon , the product was available.
After opening the package , I realized , it was entirely a different color, and had a very kiddish print, I called the customer care today, just to know that they don't have any arrangements for pickup and thus in order to return, I need to pay a price of more than Rs. 1000 to get a refund of Rs. 499/-.
This is the height of being irresponsible when belonging to a company, claiming a high stature and repute.
