Excellence thy name is; expressway, six lanes beautiful drive .a fantastic food mall on the way eat fabulous vada pavs.tax on food is killing though at food malls scenic route via khandala lonavla beautiful houses coming up climate on expressway beautiful can drive without ac except in maymonsoon there are small waterfalls over every nook and corner toll could be a trifle high , but the fast drive makes up for it you reach pnqin just 3 hours.
Not tiring at all, it is a refreshing journey compared to before when this route would take even 8 hours in rain sand it used to be a back breaking journey however if you start check your vehicle brakes and tyres , there is a petrol outlet on the way on both sides , however the eating joint on the pnq bom road gives raw vada pavs -not cooked properly so avoid.once you reach back to mumbai after vashi the traffic can drive u mad, and same at sion however till the expressway gets extended we have to live with that
