They are the worst. Review on Planet M, Bangalore

This is the most disgusting experience I have had with any store. My mistake was to buy a mobile phone from Planet M, Bharat Mall, Mangalore. In April 2009 I bought a Nokia 5130 and one year and a month later it got spoil. That I know is not their fault(I have written a separate review for the phone) but all that happened afterwards is.

First, when I took the phone to their shop, they were discourteous and told me to go to a Nokia Service center without even trying to find out if it was in the warranty period. Thank God for me, it was in the extended warranty period so next day I went with their warranty card. They had no choice but to take the set for repair. They said it would require 20 working days for repair but I gave the set on 3rd May 2010 and got it back today 3rd July 2010(2 months and a day), and that also by making repeated calls and reminding them. They would say they would get back the next day and 7-10 days would go by and I would have to call again otherwise they slept over it hoping maybe I will forget about it altogether.

The worse part is that when I got the set back, the back panel was broken from the top till almost bottom and at 4 places. I had hardly gone 10 meters from their shop when I saw that and went back to tell them and they said that I must have given in that condition. I was shocked and appalled that they should accuse me of lying that I would give such a set and say that they did it. I told him that it was given in absolutely perfect condition as far as the body went but they refused to believe me. Then the worst part is that few hours later I was trying to load the songs and it wouldn't go after few songs, then I realized the problem. There was no space so I checked the memory card slot and lo and behold the card slot was empty! I was shocked that they would take out the card and not put back. So I called them again to say that my memory card is missing and for the second time in one day PLANET M ACCUSED THEIR CUSTOMER OF LYING! BEWARE all you people who go there! They said that they received only the phone and battery. I tried to tell them that when I gave the set, I had forgotten all about the card so never removed it, but he said that their person who received the phone would have removed and given to me. That is their routine they said but I tried to tell him that the person who took the set from me never removed the card nor gave it to me, in fact I had completely forgotten about it until the music wouldn't transfer. But they just would not listen so my conclusion is PLANET M IS A THIEF STORE(Bharat Mall, Mangalore) who stole my memory card and probably changed the my intact back panel with a defective one. If you want to save yourself from being accused of lying then better not got to that store.
