:)) I begin with a burst of laughter. Yesterday, i.e. 04/11, we went for an outing at Koregaon Park, and decided on having dinner at PH. At first we didnot know the quantity of garlic breads in one portion. We ordered two portions and soon saw 8 slices laid at our table. We had ordered Tandoori chicken pzs. After we finished, we saw another waiter bringing the check (Rs. 350 ish) along with a packet. I thought may be this contained our leftover extra garlic slices which we thought of eating up upon reaching home. The waiter told us this was their Diwali gift.
We reached home, and I started munching upon the garlic no sooner it was unpacked, while my wife opened up the gift. We saw 5 packets of some obscure brand biscuits , each packet costing Rs. 5.00. On opening up one of the packets, I discovered some very cheap quality stuff, that normally would be available in shanty shops for 50 np each. The biscuits tasted like sawdust.
I would like to advise the relationship manager or whoever's brainchild this was, please look up. Dont spoil the image of PH by offering such crappy stuff as gifts. If you have limited budget, think of gifting cards, or even a strip of digene or gelusils after a sumptous meal could be much appreciated. Think of something which would raise your image amongst patrons. We visit there quite often, sometime with family friends. This is quite a funny incident though.
