I had tried to order a pizza from pizzahut through their website. The transaction had failed due to some reason. This was the beginning of a nightmare. From 3 days to 23 days, I got all types of responses to the number of days it would take to return the money.
Calling Pizzahut customer care made me change my opinion on whether they were actually trying to serve customers or torture them. From one line to another, from terminating calls inadvertently to fake promises of getting back, I have been through it all. On the 23rd day, due to inadequate response, I finally decided to take matters into my own hands and wanted a face to face response. I then approached the store for myself.
Though the manager there was pretty helpful, I was delivered in cash after extensive request to return the amount that was rightfully mine.Thinking this was the end of it was a mistake. The guy who came back to give my cash did not have the right amount of change with him.
They could probably rename from customer care to customer torture for this kind of an experience.
I have now vowed to make sure this experience reaches other people and they do not have to go through a similar experience.
