Pizza Hut-American chain is now in full form in India. I have been a regular customer of Pizza Hut in USA and now in India.
Last week, I visited their fairly new Pizza restaurant at Chowpatty in Mumbai. There were three of us. We decided to go for a family size pizza (8 slices), with Iced tea and garlic bread.
Ambience:
No sooner did we get there, we were impressed with the overall look and feel of the restaurant. It has a very sober and yet informal look.
Seating did not take long, although the restaurant was crowded because, Pizza Hut uses two way radios to manage and utilize the seats in a real time basis.
Service:
The service, I must say was above average! We wanted to go for a Deep Dish, Veggie pizza, but the server managed to convince us to go for the newly launched stuff crust.
Deep dish, was a tried and tested item for us, so we decided to be little adventerous and go for the stuff crust. AM sorry we did not enjoy this new offering. It was pretty expensive too, compared to the other items.
Misc. details:
Reservation is not necessary. It can be helpful though. Valet parking is available. Ambience as I said is very cool.
Althought at times, they play really loud and funky music, which can be annoying. Gently ask them to turn it down.
On a bad day, you can expect to wait 45 minutes.
The pizzas at Pizza HUt are the best compared to all other pizzas available in the world., I can swear.
Service is good and items are served within 15 minutes. Worth every penny, and simply the best pizza in town.
