Who said Piracy is a crime. If you enter the wonderful world of Walt Disney, you will be proved time and again that Crime is fun and adventure which will prove you that there is no better production to recreate that and no better stalwart than Johnny Depp to act in it.
Let us see how the Curse of Black Pearl violates all copyrights and makes your skull (Brain) explode to wits end.
Copyright 1: Any Hollywood Movie can become great if it works on a single or two genres and cannot become popular in all Genres and for all ages.
Piracy of Copyright (Violation) : POTC like few other movies proves you wrong and you can say that it is one movie which has all ingredients of a great Entertainer which includes Action, adventure, drama, comedy, fantasy, horror and thriller.
Copyright 2: Johnny Depp the chocolate boy of Hollywood (Charlie and the Chocalate Factory) is more suited for horror movies where he has excelled like A nightmare on elm street, Sleepy Hollow, From hell, secret window etc.
Piracy of Copyright (Violation) :If Chocolat proved that he is a good actor ,then POTC take him to the highest level of acting-shear entertainer who was really not needed in the script but takes the movie to great Heights by becoming omnipresent. Hail Captain Jack Sparrow with a bottle of rum.
And if you want to see a lovely handsome boy, then foget it, POTC with all the dirtiest guys along with dirty Johhny Depp take you around for a jolly ride
Copyright 3: When Captain Jack Sparrow finds a woman, he gets a slap.
Piracy of Copyright (Violation) :For once, he is not slapped by Elizabeth (Keira Knightley) when he saves her.
Copyright 4: Jack Sparrow should not use his ugly long hair for any other purpose than booing girls who slap him.
Piracy of Copyright (Violation) :When he was left in the Island marooned the first time, he used it as rope to tie to sea turtles to wade out of the shallows.
Copyright 5: Never believe in Ghost stories. Elizabeth tells Captain Barbosa ,” I hardly believe in Ghost stories anymore”
Piracy of Copyright (Violation) :When Elizabeth stabs him, Barbosa replies back ,” you better start believing in Ghost stories Miss Turner, you are in one” What a moment in the movie when every bloody Pirate in the ship turns into a skeleton.
Copyright 6:The curse of the Black pearl holds good for all Pirates of the Black Pearl.
Piracy of Copyright (Violation) :When the monkey steels the gold , it becomes a skeleton. Was it also a pirate.
Copyright 7: The Pirates have to follow the code of rules whatsoever.
Piracy of Copyright (Violation): All the rules and codes become mere guidelines when Elizabeth orders Gibbs and crew to find Jack Sparrow. When it is from a lady, it has to be honoured.
Copyright 8: When you leave Captain Jack Sparrow alone in an empty Island, he is sure to come back.
Piracy of Copyright (Violation) :But this time around , he gets the company of Elizabeth and the beautiful Knightley turns intelligent when she burns the stock of rum and the signal is found.
Copyright 9: When you are captured by the Pirates, you can get away by telling Parley.
Piracy of Copyright (Violation) :Pintel , one of the Pirates finds himself on the wrong side of the boat when he finds that he is indeed mortal (the curse is removed just at the moment ) and says ,” Parley.
Copyright 10 : When you are dressed to breathless ,you find the sea. Elizabeth faints and falls into the sea choked by the dress and is saved by Jack Sparrow.
Piracy of Copyright (Violation) :As a fitting climax, Jack Sparrow falls back into the sea when she chokes with a tight dress in the last scene.
Copyright 11: When the Pirate is marooned he is given a pistol with just one shot which he never uses.
Piracy of Copyright (Violation) :Jack Sparrow uses at the opportune moment after ten years when the Curse of the Black pearl is taken back by the blood spilled by Will Turner on the Medallion. This on Captain Barbosa when he says before he realizes that he is dying ,”Ten years you carry that Pistol and now you have wasted your shot. “This is indeed the scene of the movie
Copyright 12: The Governor’s daughter cannot fall in love with a Blacksmith leave alone marrying him.
Piracy of Copyright (Violation) :But she can fall in love with a Pirate which the Governor fails to realize. Watch out the sequence to it in the Dead Man’s chest.
Copyright 13: The Pirates movie inevitably fails at the box office. Take the case of Yellowbeard and Pirates and Cuthroat Island.
Piracy of Copyright (Violation) :POTC 1 grosses more than 300 million $ and POTC has already touched 400 million 4 in first few weeks. But wait the best is still to come-POTC-3 being filmed.
They say action speaks more than words. But the Black Pearl is just such a movie where every action has a word to describe. I am pirating one more to describe the course of entertainment- perceiving the right course demands an act of piracy, piracy itself can be the right course
