Pink is an Indian courtroom drama–thriller film directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury and produced by Rashmi Sharma and Shoojit Sircar.
Amitabh Bachchan-starrer ‘Pink’ released last Friday, September 16, and has grossed a hefty amount in just 1 week of its release. This courtroom drama film directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury also featured Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Angad Bedi, Andrea Tariang, Piyush Mishra and Dhritiman Chatterjee. ‘Pink’ has turned out to be a big hit and reportedly, the Telugu remake of the film is on the cards.
Taapsee has discussed the idea of making this film in Telugu. If she has her way, the remake will happen soon, and she’ll be a part of it as well. Any further details regarding the
cast, production and director of the remake is yet not decided. According to reports, the lead actress of this B-town film is trying hard to remake ‘Pink’ in Telugu and Tamil.
A source shared, “Taapsee has got a wide reach in the Tamil and Telugu market and she knows people will watch the film. She believes the story needs to be told and is pursuing it quite strongly.” The film features the legal trial of three girls, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari and Andrea Tariang, who are fighting to bring their abusers to justice. The film revolves around how Amitabh fights the girls’ case against these culprits.
Desimartini hopes that the influential film, ‘Pink’, gets reprised in other languages too.
