This was my first ever Ken Follett book I stumbled onto .lets call it serendipity and now im hooked. A saga of epic proportions set in the heart of england that takes you through a journey spanning five whole decades . Follett succeeds through his characters in bringing out the best and the worst of humanity .The book perfectly emulates the human condition in a nutshell .
Though the book may look quite daunting at first coz of its sheer size . once you pick it up it will haunt you till you finish it . and thank God there is a sequel.
If you love medieval fiction, then you gotta read this book.
