I wanted to gift a calendar to my wife that had our family photos. Initially I was skeptical of buying such a thing from an Indian website - after numerous experiences of poor customer service from different Indian websites. The only other option was to buy from Yahoo's Flickr - but they would take at least a month to send any personalized gift. Besides, Flickr would cost me double the price.

I had gone through Picsquare's site earlier last year and found them to be quite affordable. Also, a friend of mine bought a mug with a personalized photo delivered to him though Picsqure and he was quite happy with it. However, Picsquare only provides desk calendars and do not have an option of wall calendars.

I checked through Mouthshut for Picsquare's reviews, and after reading through 1 positive and 2 negative reviews, decided to still go for it.

Picsquare provides a choice of layouts for the calendar and I really liked the layout that I chose.

The calender came in within the promised time of 4-8 days. They send it through either Speedpost or DTDC. Mine came through DTDC and they didn't take much time either.

I really liked the way it came out in the end and it feels nice to have a personalized calendar. I am not a photographer and I cannot really tell if a photo print does justice to a photograph. But the prints are quite nice and our photos look good.

The only mistake they did was in putting March ahead of February. But I did not think much of it.

The best thing that they did in the calendar was to start with the month when the calender was ordered - this idea is refreshing and I don't think even Flickr makes calenders like this.  To understand this, take my example - I ordered the calendar in May 2008 - so the calendar was from June 2008 to May 2009 - although, not many people may appreciate it.

Overall a nice experience. Due to the low price, you can give it at least 1 try.
