Vespa 150. I saw this tag on my dad's scooter since when I was a toddler. I was even brought home from hospital after birth on my dad's Vespa. He treasured it more than anything else in the world. Today neither the scooter remains nor does my dad. So I thought I would go ahead and pay them both a small Tribute. The Piaggio Vespa was a 1955 make pure Italian scooter. My dad got it for just around Two Thousand Rupees, second hand from some Parsi friend. The Vespa was originally in Cream colour. The scooter was way ahead of it's times. Even after almost 50years, no Bajaj or Honda can match Vespa 150's performance. It is immortal. Specs: Engine = single cylinder, air cooled 2-stroke Induction = piston ported Bore = 57 mm Stroke = 57 mm Cubic Capacity = 145.5 cc Compression Ration = 6.3: 1 Bhp at RPM = 5.4 @ 5200 Lubrication = 5% Transmission = 3 speed constant mesh Clutch = wet - multiplate Carburetor = Dell'Orto MA19 Voltage = 6 Volt Max stator output = 6v - 32w Max speed = 45 mph / 72 kph Please do visit [ https://it.vespa.com ] for more info.
