It was an exciting week for movie lovers as two much awaited movies phillauriand trapped' has been released on same day. At one end anushka is giggling the audiance with her sweet and naughty ghostly character whereas on the other end rajkumar is holding strings with a power pact performance which can make anyone sitting in dark to cover their faces.
Phillauri Plot-
People of phillaur district in Punjab are called Phillauri.
As you guess from the name , story takes place in phillaur. Karan and Anu were planning for their wedding but wait hold on ! Family finds out that karan is manglic and to correct this fault he has to marry a tree first before marriage. Things seems pretty easy but after marrying tree karan feels uneasy as some one is following him and here comes shashi the a sweet , cute and heart broken ghost was has been on that tree for more than 9 decades. Shashi tells karan about her story , a incomplete story of hers and pillauri( man she loved the most ) . Back in her time shashi used to write poetries in daily newspaper with another name and falls in love with a local singer who claimed that it was his writtings in daily paper. It is bollywood , a story needs to have some villain but unlike other that person was missing ( error707#) .
Acting-
Anushka's performance as shashi was unmatchable her expressions will just grab you to the seats.Diljit doshanj's second bollywood movie came with some great news his innocance on screen is outstanding.
Suraj singh also did a good job but Character named anu could have been better.
Sound tracks-
Back ground music is good overall but at some places it became too loud.
Song Sahiba and Dum Dum were my favourate I was singing them since I heard them first
Cinematography-
Variations in camera movement and colours with variatons in time period was good.
Aminations at some places were kiddish and alot of work was need.
