Ery good headphones. Completely cover ears and the foam is very soft, so there is no pressure to the ears at all, and as a result can be used for long period of times. Sound is clear, so if you expect them pumping bass then look for something else however if you'd like to use them to listen to audiobooks, classical music, any type of music that doesn't accent bass or drums, then you'd like them. I've had them for about 4-5 years now, the top layer started peeling off so am buying a new pair. Hope they'll never stop making them. Years ago, prior to buying these ones, there was another famous brand ( sony) that was making similar headphones which were really amazing and cheap as well ( I'd even use them for mastering as they were better than some very expensive mastering headphones) however they stopped producing them. Recently bought from that brand headphones that had sooo many good reviews ( hundreds and hundreds) however they are ON the ears which is uncomfortable and annoying. That's why will be buying these ones again to use at my leisure time. I've got technic one for mastering yet they are super uncomfortable. So far haven't found any more comfortable for my ears than philips, that's why buying again and highly recommend. Please note that they are big and bulky and sound does escapes ( otherwise they'd have to be very tight to ears and that would apply pressure to ears) so not very suitable for taking outside, however if you want to use them indoors for your music/audio books or piano practice, then they are just perfect.
