I bought the Philips Multi Purpose Grooming Set QG3382/15 from Flipkart as there was a good deal on the product. After a single recharge the adaptor has gone bad. I tried looking up the website for assistance and under the personal care products they have 2 service centers in Hyderabad and both of them are at Himayat Nagar which is far from my residence.
The customer care agent on the phone tells me another location a bit closer but I knew that they don't service this product and only support TV's. She told me the only option is to reach out to the service center for getting assistance. I called the service center only to know that they support only TV's.
I would spend more money traveling to the service center to get support than buying a new adaptor but unfortunately the pins are proprietary so might as well just dump the shaver in the thrash. The 2 year warranty claims don't make sense if I can't get a service center more accessible especially in Tier 1 / Tier 2 city.
