I have been using this product Phillis HD4928/01 Induction cooktop for few days and I quite happy with its experience.
It consume maximum 2200W power. color and design of the product is hery attractive. I bought it for Rs.2643 from a online e-commerce site. I also a have 1 year of warranty from Phillips.
The product made by good quality of parts and metal body. Display and operation and settings are quite easy and user friendly. I am going to discuss its pros and cons in details below.I needed an Induction cooker due the difficulty in getting hold of LPG cylinders in black. The build quality of the device itself seems good, but the power chord looks very local.
One need not use special mystic Induction cookware for normal induction cooking. The item needs to be only Iron/Steel that is magnetic and with flat bottom, preferable with a thick bottom or thick overall. So don't worry about buying expensive Induction ware. Only exception is big frying pans and Pressure Cookers, the induction version will have steel bottoms glued to body of vessels. Some alloy steels are semi magnetic and heating will be less efficient. Buy thick vessels to which magnets attract strongly. They are not so costly.
After pressing the power off button, wait for a few minutes till the integrated fun turns of and electronics are cool enough. Then switch of wall socket.
If you face any problem you can contact Phillips, They have a lot of service center all over India and Their service is very good.
overall its a good product from the great brand phillips. I would like to recommend it to others if they have a quite good budget. It will return the value of your money.
