GoGear is a very famous product from 90s. It comes with really nice audio quality output. I mean it's Philips.so no worries.
Sheer quality. But, now in the era of smartphones and lowered ipod costs.its totally outdated. I don't find any valid reason to buy this.
One another product which can compared to this is Sony mp3 player.sound quality is much better than GoGear. But, nowadays we have so much GBs on our phones we do not need this product.
I do not know why Philips even is manufacturing this product. Only advantage is if you want to save the battery of your cell phone then you can go for this one.
Also, as far as my experience is concerned it is an use and throw kind of product as when my GoGear went dunk there was nobody ready to repair it. So, instead go for 32 GB memory card and a power bank combo. I understand it is not that easy to carry these things every time.but who cares for 2GB mp3 player today.
