I bought a Philips Home Theatre from CROMA, DLF Mega Mall, Gurgaon on 12th Feb 2011. The system turned out to be a defective as confirmed by Philips Installation team on 19th Feb 2011( JS No 999982190527960 dated 13/02/2011) and was assured to be replaced with newer one at the max in 1 week time.


Look at the horrible Philips own Call Center responses:




  1. Called at least 5 times to get the system installed. In the process had to avail 2 half Days OFF waiting for promised timings.




  2. After system declared defective. Call closed stating installation done.




  3. Call center does not have phone nos./email-id of any senior staff .




  4. Team leader Girish promised all assurances of 24 hrs replacement on 22nd Feb. and then absconded to come online and call back.




  5. Didn't worry on my action of approaching ' consumer court'.




  6. Even Croma does not have this latest HT model in there stock in any of their center for more than 5 days to replace ( Don't know what business they are into)






Hope there are senior people in organization to take action against these bunch of inefficient employees.


Suggestion: If product earns a bad reputation, its killed forever.


RECOMMENDATION:


Look at my hardship levels after posting my reviews:




  1. Even emailed to CEO Philips. No response. ( Email didn't bounce back)




  2. CROMA DLF started putting my phone on hold for 20 minutes.




  3. Finally called CROMA Mumbai Head office. Gentlemen there assured me and handled my case professionally Got the system replaced immediately. Big Thanks to him.






Just wondering if a company like Philips do not care for its product and Customers, are they serious for there India operations. 1 month several contacts to several officials but no response. I pitty.


It's better to buy local/chine... products, which gets replaced immediately.
