This aqua touch machine works on both dry and wet skin, depending upon you if you do not like wet shave you can shave on your dry skin and if you want smooth shave you can apply shaving cream on your face and can be use this machine on your wet skin.
I used to go on to the salon to shave which was more costly and with Philips aqua touch machine you can use it for 30 min which covers up to 10 shaves once you charge it for 10 hours, that is the reason I chooses this one.
