Diesel or Petrol? whats you type?
Jul 06, 2017 07:36 PM 6957 Views

Should I buy diesel car or petrol car? this question comes to everyone's mind and there are many logic that can help you to choose the best suitable car for you. so check out these tips that will help you choose your car type:

1)Utility: the first thing you should think about how much you will be using the vehicle, i.e, pull out some average kilometer range for which you will be driving a car per day, for example I certainly have to use around 60-80 Km everyday so I decided to opt for diesel.  basically I made a range that I suggest everyone which says people using their cars on a avg of more than 50 Km per day should consider diesel cars.

2)Budget: There is difference in the budget of the diesel car and petrol car,  The diesel cars obviously costs much more than the petrol cars, but some variants gives a very less difference i.e, something around 40K to 60K  so we can easily go for diesel.  Making long story short just check your budget.

3)Maintenance/Repairs:  Since the diesel cars are more robust than petrol cars they have much higher longevity and reliability and low maintenance effort, but the spare parts of diesel can costs you more than petrol cars, so repairs and maintenance can be costly in case of diesel. And all of this because it delivers more powerful engine with a high compression ratio and thus requires parts that are more robust and much stronger than the usual.

4) You should assume the time period you want to keep a car, i.e, if you want to keep a car for time period of more than 7 years you should better go for diesel, this is because the tough side of diesel cars which will let you to maintain your beloved model in a healthy position for a long time.

5)ENGINE VIBRATION/POLLUTION CONTROL/NOISE: if you want to save the world please choose petrol cars or better go for CNG, diesel cars are the main source of a very harmful oxides of nitrogen in the air that causes the dangerous smog, thus leading you to the diseases like irritation in eyes and lung cancers.

so, this is up to you and your driving and living style to choose which type of car is best for you.
