Hindi movies have nurtured my daily lingo in a big way. They have bestowed upon me numerous phrases and songs to describe each and every moment and situation in my personal, local (Train) and corporate life.

Some of these phrases owe their origin to my local (train) life e.g. ''Hawa aane de'' that means ''get lost'' in Hindi movies was originally coined when someone wanted a bunch of guys standing in the train door to get out so that he can atleast breathe and hence ''Hawa aane de'' came on this very earth.

On the other side, we are also influenced by Hindi movie phrases and songs. To give you an example...Read this review further ....

Naagin-Sapera : Mein teri dushman, dushman tu mera !

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Those were the days when Sridevi used to act in movies that were not produced by Bonny Kapoor and were not directed by Satish Koushik.

Those were the days when Binaca Gitmla used to play outrageous songs like ''gori hai kalaiyaan, tu la de muze hari hari chudiyan'' and ''Tu jab jab muzko pukare, mein daudi aaoon nadiya kinare'' ....

Those were the days when movies on janam, pun:janma, saap, sapera, nag-nagin, nagin ka badla for nag ki hatya were in vogue and I can recall very easily a few movies like Nagina, Nigahen and Sheshnaag. I pinch myself and see their starcast. Aaj-ke veterans like Sridevi, Sunny Deol, Rishi Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Amrish Puri, Jitendra were decorating these movies.

Those were the days when Naagin portrayed ''good'' part in the movie and Sapera depicted the bad parts of the world.

Oye bubbly, aaja bubbly : Those were my days(April 06 ,05)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I?m an ocasional carnivores and do not go beyond eating the chicks. I mean chicken. The dreams of my fish eating adventure always turn into a nightmare when I see the fishbones getting stuck and a fat lady pounding me upside down on the ground to get the fishbone out.

I?m the one who is leading a crusade against the tribes who practice eating men alive. This is so inhuman to eat a man alive ! But sometimes I make an exception to leave that crusade and cheer up for the man-eating practices. Recently, I cheered up for that practice when the Celebrity model in Pepsi?s Recent Oye bubbly Campaign was shown gulped down by some unknown toungue alongwith the car !

For that moment, I gave up my precious stone in my house and stood up to cheer for the creativity as well as foresightedness of the Ad-maker.

Oye Bubbly-Sapera: Mein tera dushman, dushman tu mera ! Mein zulu, tu sapera !------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mein kal bhi waisa tha aur aaj bhi waisa hi hoon !(Lekin mein Bajaj Scooter nahin hoon ! ting tong !) Mein aisa hi hoon !

In those days ... I disliked Sapera attitude in Amrish Puri since he was playing a baddie.

Somedays back ... I disliked Oye Bubbly Commercial starring SRK for various reasons stated in my earlier review... (Please read it again ... I'm too bored of bashing these guys again for the same crime. Remember the great funda that hindo movies taught us .. ''Ek jurma ke liye do bar saja nahi ho sakti'' !

Aur aaj-kal, aaj-bhi

The advertisement goes like this : SRK dressed up as a Modern Sapera arrives at a desert home where a couple of attitude babes are present. He is ridiculed (sapere ke poonch par pair rakh diya...iski saza milegi, barabar milegi)...the guy makes all the Pepsi bottles in that house form a snake shape and get in his bag...he is ridiculed again...the girl loses her shirt for having Pepsi bottle printed on it...the sapera goes away happily singing Oye Bubbly...

For me... my hatred towards Sapera continued for various reasons :

I'm still clueless about the purpose about this advertisement....was it for SRk's unmet desire to play sapera on the silver screen or was it because of the desire of that chic to take off her shirt to get easy entry into mallika movies.

I'm still clueless about SRK's ''attitude hang-over'' in this advertisement ... Yeah..I'm the best...

I'm still clueless about the advertiser's choice for dedicating this theme for Pepsi. They could have possibly used it for Harpic and freed guys like Aman Varma and Roshan Abbas who are visiting every unclean toilets in the country homes to clean them up...

I'm still clueless about stripping that lady off her shirt ...

I'm still clueless about back-to back rubbish advertisements from Pepsi !

I'm still clueless about some nice looking chic having Pepsi bottle printed on her t-shirt...even after watching these meaningless campaigns !

I'm affirmed I'm gonna hit that sapera...Mein tera dushman...
