All right, the Cola wars are on again. Just a few months ago Coca Cola introduced their new “Vanilla Coke”, and Pepsi had their “Pepsi with a twist” flavor. Well guess what? It’s on again and this time Pepsi has come out with a new flavor to add to the “twist”.

Pepsi Blue looks cool in it’s little plastic bottle, and when I first seen it sitting in the cooler at the store I just had to grab it. I have loved Pepsi ever since I was a small kid, and I am now addicted to Pepsi. I have tried Pepsi twist and I really dislike the flavor. So what about this new flavor of Pepsi? Like all the other flavors of Pepsi this is no different when it comes to the calories and the sugar content. The color of the Pepsi is neat, and is very attractive. You know when you first open a can of Pepsi you hear that nice refreshing sound of carbon? Well when you open this flavor of Pepsi it doesn’t seem to have that special fizz sound to it. Have you ever tasted blueberry kool-aid? I have, and to me this new Pepsi flavor is the same taste as the Kool-aid is. It’s not that sweet; it has a weird taste to it. You don’t have the fizz like the “real” Pepsi. Instead it’s like drinking a fruit burst or some type of “kids” berry juice. If there is cola in this flavor I would of never knew because the berry flavor out does the cola flavor. To me this isn’t considered a cola drink! The mixture of berry and cola was a very big mistake! Now on the other hand mixing Coke and Vanilla was a good idea, guess Coke outdone Pepsi in that war! Yeah it’s refreshing and cold at first, but it left a yucky taste in my mouth after a few sips of this new Pepsi. You now have Pepsi twist, Pepsi One, Diet Pepsi, Pepsi, and now Blue Pepsi. What will this company think of next? Hmm maybe they should of made Pepsi with Vanilla too?

Conclusion If you like soda and Pepsi is your choice, like it is mine, then I suggest that you stick to your “regular” Pepsi soft drink and stay away from this new Blue Pepsi. I don’t recommend this product to anyone. I do however suggest you try it out for yourself, cause everyone has their own taste buds and they might like it. There is nothing different when it came to ingredients and calories and etc. The only difference is the color and flavor and to me that was the biggest turn off and I really hate this Pepsi product. Pepsi Blue was just released last week in the stores in the USA. I’m not sure when it will be introduced around the world! I’m sure the Pepsi company will soon be having Britney Spears do a commercial for this product in the near future, or what about Austin Powers? I have heard that the movie Triple X is going to have a car with this new blue Pepsi symbol on it. When it comes to real Cola’s I suggest we stick to our Pepsi’s and Cokes with out anything else added to them. When you add new flavors to a Cola it just seems to take the “real” taste out! I’m addicted and that is bad, but some say that Pepsi will quench your thirst? Hmm to me all it really does is makes me thirsty more! Like someone else once wrote, “If you are tired then drink a can of Pepsi and it will bring you back and give you a sugar rush and energy”. Well I agree with that one.
