I narrate what happened to me. Bought one 2 seater sofa(maroon) in Aug 2022, after looking at the images on the Pepperfry website. But I was shocked when I received the product. The color was more of Crimson Red than Maroon.
I raised a ticket and got a call from the Customer Care Exec, and he explained that there could be some difference in image clicked than the actual product. But I informed that in my camera the difference is very much visible.
I requested for a return and deliver the actual one advertised on the website.
Raised 3 tickets but the response I got was, we reviewed your query and we can’t do anything further as the product delivered is as per the images on the website. Have they taken a 3rd party advice before concluding? Why would they since they knowingly posted wrong images on the site to sell the product.
I showed the images from website and the images I clicked of the delivered product to about 10 people and none said its matching. Everyone said that the colors are different.
Such is the business dealing of Pepperfry. Upon raising multiple service requests, they don’t listen to your pain but keep on sharing copy paste response. Hopeless service.
They are just there to make fools of people by showing different product and delivering different.
Please be aware of the images shown on the website. Witness the actual product and then buy, if it’s available only on their website and the requirement is a matter of life and death.
